Coming-soon scoring checklist

Tell in four checks whether an AI 'preview' is actually something you can use

Four checks to tell whether an AI "preview" is something you can use today.

Coming-soon scoring checklist

Run these in order. Write down what you saw for each one, like a screenshot or the page URL.

  1. Can I sign up without being invited? If you see a waitlist, "request access", "trusted testers" or "contact sales", the answer is no.
  2. Is there public pricing? You need a published price or free tier that you can read without booking a call.
  3. Can I run it on my own input? You should be able to reach a working app, API or docs with keys you issue yourself. A demo video or a playground limited to preset examples doesn't count.
  4. Can I use it where I am, for what I need? Check that it isn't region-locked and that the terms allow your use case.

Score

  • 4/4: available. You can use it today.
  • Any "no": still coming soon for you. Note the date and check again later.

Score each "coming soon" announcement on the day you see it, then run the checks again when the company says access has widened.
